Carravaggio


With regards to the use of light I was looking at Carravaggio's paintings.



The Entombment of Christ, (1602-1603)

Supper at Emmaus, 1601

David with the Head of Goliath, 1609-1610

St. Jerome, 1605-1606

    Robert: Carravaggio paintings leads us to Derek Jarman's film about Carravaggio. Jarman recreates many scenes from Carravaggio's paintings with beautiful lighting effects. We can get the DVD or watch some scenes on youtube.
